Searches for alarms with the given criterias and returns the number found.

Parameters:

acknowledged - search for acknowledged or unacknowledged alarms

age - the age of the alarms

onmsSeverity - the OnmsSeverity to search for

Returns:

number of alarms found

Parameters:
